Each long-term, full-time placement is accompanied by our 12-month replacement guarantee (this is the longest re-placement search guarantee offered in the industry). Additionally, we offer part-time placements of 20 hours a week or more that come with a 90-day replacement search guarantee. Temporary nanny placements are also offered for short-term needs; while these placements do not come with a replacement search guarantee, we stand behind the quality of all placements. Registration Fee
When a family to Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency, the first step is to fill out an on our families page, then pay a registration fee. The registration fee (non-refundable) is charged at $350.00, and is paid upfront when the application is submitted. This covers our admin costs to start your search.
Nanny and Domestic Placement Fees
After the search is conducted and a nanny or domestic candidate is successfully hired, we will invoice the placement fee. The one-time placement fee for our services are listed below.
- Full-Time Nanny and Domestic Placements: 12% of the annual salary, a minimum of $4,500. (The family must be able to guarantee at least 30 hours of pay each week. It is highly encouraged to offer as close to 40 hours a week as possible.)
- Part-Time Nanny and Domestic Placements: 15% of the annual salary, a minimum of $4,000. (The family must be able to guarantee at least 20 hours of pay each week. It is highly encouraged to offer as many hours a week as possible.)
- Temporary Nanny placement (4 months – 11 months): 12% of the Nanny’s total income for the duration of the placement, minimum of $3,500. (No replacement search guarantee is given with any placements less than 12 months).
- Temporary/Summer Nanny placement (up to 3 months and Summer Placements): 12% of the nanny’s total salary during the duration of the placement, up to 3 months, minimum placement fee of $2,000. (No replacement search guarantee is given with any placements less than 12 months).
- Nanny Share Placements: Each family pays 10% of the nanny’s annual salary at placement.
- Private Educators: 12% of the educator’s annual salary. Minimum of $6,000.
- Night Nanny or Newborn Care Specialist: $2,000.00 (for a 4-12 week duration)

Average Hourly Pay Rates in the Charlotte Metro Area and the Carolina’s for Nanny and Domestic Professionals
In the Charlotte metro area and the Carolinas, experienced nannies generally request hourly pay of $25.00 to $32.00+ per hour, with rates varying based on experience, responsibilities, and expertise. For other domestic roles, such as Family Assistants, the hourly rates typically range from $27.00 to $35.00+ per hour, depending on the specific duties and expertise required.

Hours worked over 40 hours in one week must be paid at an overtime pay (1.5x hourly rate).
