A few weekends ago, the Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency team packed our bags and headed a little north of Charlotte to Durham, NC, to attend NannyPalooza East! We participated in Nannypalooza by sponsoring the event, providing swag, and kicking off the conference by hosting a round table discussion. If you haven’t attended Nannypalooza, you should consider attending a future Nannypalooza.
We kicked off the conference with a lively roundtable discussion on “Overcoming Family/Nanny Challenges. We enjoyed the discussion and time spent with dedicated nannies from NC and all over the country. We appreciated how open the nannies in attendance were about their current challenges, and it was great to learn from them and to share solutions on how to navigate those challenges. Our team hosted two rounds of these discussions, and it was enlightening to hear the passion and current challenges that each nanny brought to the table. Our team enjoyed providing solutions and guidance to these challenges. Who knew problem-solving could be so much fun?
A huge shoutout to the fabulous Sue Downey and Kellie Geres (and the Nannypalooza team) for orchestrating this amazing event year after year. It’s no small feat to gather so many nannies in one place, and they always go above and beyond! This year was no exception. We loved reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new nannies from North Carolina and beyond.
Throughout the weekend, nannies engaged in workshops, shared delicious meals, went on fun outings, and networked. I wish I had an opportunity to attend a conference like this back when I was a nanny! The inclusive and welcoming atmosphere made it easy to connect and gain new knowledge.
Every year, NannyPalooza proves to be more than just a conference; it’s a celebration of the incredible work nannies do. Our team always walks away inspired, and this year was no exception. We’re already counting down until we can participate in the next Nannypalooza.
