Election day is November 5th, 2024, and early voting in NC starts today, Thursday, Oct. 17th, 2024, and ends at 3:00 pm on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, 2024. If you live in SC, early voting starts Monday, October 21st, and runs until Saturday, November 2 (Closed Sunday, October 27th). If you are eligible to vote, please make a plan to visit your local polling site and cast your vote either early or on Election Day. Your vote matters! Before voting, it is important to do your research on who you are voting for and cast your vote to make your voice heard. If you are a Nanny or Family Assistant who has to work on election day or typically works long hours (we know many children are out of school on election day), early voting is a great option for you. Many polling locations are open on nights and weekends, so you can always go after work or on the weekends to vote. Or, if you have election day off or ample time to vote on election day, you can vote on election day, which is November 5th, 2024.
Check Your Voter Registration
Please check your voter registration before going to the polls to ensure you are registered to vote and ensure the information on your voter registration is accurate. In NC, is available at early voting sites. In NC if you are not registered to vote currently, you can register the same day you vote early. If you are not registered to vote in SC, the voter registration deadline was October 14th, and the deadline has passed. SC does not have same-day voter registration available.
